This came about when it occurred to me that I may in fact have many of the photographs that go with the stories in the book. One night I got the albums and loose photos out and spread them all over the lounge room floor. After many decisions and much sorting, I came up with this collage of photos. I added a few in from some of my travelling and working companions (there’s more to come) and this is the result.

I apologise for the condition of some of the photos as many are as old as the time frame of the book, and also I’m afraid that photos, even if kept in albums don’t last well in the humid conditions of the rainforest environment in which I live.

Moreover, I have tried to keep the size of the images to a minimum so that the pages load up as quickly as possible.
